The joke about Bangalore market fit is often true.

Some fact checks:
- Less than 5% of Indians take a flight once a year (~7 Crore people)

- The average Indian household (beyond the metros) doesn't have full time help, maids, cooks, etc.

- Household responsibilities are not as evenly shared as we would expect in an egalitarian world

- 28 Crore Indians actively pay EMIs (proxy for financial agent needs)

- India2 primarily uses smartphones for entertainment (after WA for everything)
AI for Personal Productivity is a no-go IMHO

- Vernacular AI makes a lot of sense but mostly remains knowledge search or entertainment/learning.

- India has 20 Lac (pvt ltd) and 5 Lac (LLPs) active companies.
(proxy for business agents market beyond the SP/HUF and unregistered businesses)

- LARGE majority of SMBs and Entrepreneurs don't employ a full time knowledge worker or accountant

This is why I claimed normal users don’t need high compute sandboxes and computer use models.

They don’t care for “can the agent open this website like a human and work with it”

They want a task, done in seconds, answered instantly.

Today’s agents are exciting only for PLU (people like us) because we spend hours on a desktop and enjoy watching an agent run the boring parts out of job.

The normie consumer is not here to automate their workflows.

We are in the Superhuman era of email, not everyone needs it - the ones who do will either pay $30 monthly or build their own agents.

Only AI agents will visit other agents (websites) for information or interaction or transaction.

WordPress led the website era in 2000s and 2010s.

Who is emerging as the WordPress for Agents?

The macOS update already includes the Muse capabilities including 1:1 agents, shopping, shopify checkouts, etc.

Good that the surface remains separate - WA is still a communication channel for your Muse Agent, not the primary surface.

People hating on the WhatsApp desktop redesign, we are about to witness the fastest growth and consumer adoption of AI agents for normal users.

This is becoming a PLU problem - it feels great because it’s liked by ‘People Like Us’.

We (PLU) are excited because we at least know how to delegate to an EA. Normal Consumers don’t have the patience for that (opinion).
